Pa, jedino da dobro proučiš uputstvo. Ako sam dobro shvatio, to je nešto što kupi prosuto a neiskorišćeno mastilo, nekakav upijač ili posuda. Teško je reći da li se stvar samo prazni ili mora da se zameni. Možda je najbolje, ako u uputstvu nema ništa o tome, da odeš na Internet, pa na google, pa da potražiš šta ima o tome.

U stvari... zaintrigirao si me pa sam pogledao. Piše, recimo, ovo (snadji se za engleski ako ne razumeš):

- Eight flashes: Waste ink tank almost full
The printer has a built-in waste ink tank for the ink used during print head cleaning. Eight
flashes indicates that the waste ink tank is nearly full.

Press the RESUME/CANCEL
button to cancel the error so you can continue printing. Before the waste ink tank
becomes completely full, contact a Canon service representative to have the waste ink
tank replaced.

Biće da ipak mora da se menja nešto u servisu.
MADA... probaj ipak i ovo, iako, ako se tu nešto zaista napunilo, kad-tad ćeš morati do servisa:

Waste Ink Counter Reset.



(1) Turn off the printer.

(2) Press and hold the RESUME button, then press and hold the POWER button.

(3) Release the RESUME button, Next press and release the RESUME button two(2) more times in succession. Note: you are still holding the POWER button). The printer's carriage will “reset" or move momentarily.

If the above was properly performed the printer will enter the "Service Mode".

(4) Press the RESUME button 4 times, this will select the clear waste ink counter function. The lamp will alternate (change) color with each key press. Next press the POWER button to "set" the change, and return to the top of the function selection menu. Press the POWER button again to restart the printer.
