We are getting another Assassin's Creed game on mobile, and this one is going in a different direction than previous iterations. Assassin's Creed Rebellion takes players back to the 15th century and the Spanish Inquisition and has them building their own Assassin Brotherhood. The game pulls together 40 different Assassins, some you will know and some new ones, that you get to unlock as you go along. The word "unlock" should give you an idea of how this free-to-play game will play.
As you can see from the trailer above, the game looks like Fallout Shelter in the way you have an HQ with different rooms that enable you to train your Assassins and craft new items and equipment. As you level up, more rooms become available. You'll be able to take a team of three Assassins, each with their own skills, on various missions. The art is very different different from your typical Assassin's Creed game, but it does look appropriate for this kind of game. The game will be coming out for Android and iOS "soon."
