Following Nintendo's announcement that it is to bring a range of GameCube titles to Wii under the Wii De Asobu Selection label in Japan, there has been some confusion over what exactly will be added to the ports, if anything at all.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com a Nintendo UK spokesperson has confirmed that titles in the Wii De Asobu Selection will be reworked to make use of the Wii's unique controller.

"These are re-designed GameCube games and the play controls have been re-designed so they utilise the Wii controllers," said the spokesperson.

Good news then. According to IGN the titles confirmed to be released under the Wii De Asobu Selection label include Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Pikmin, Chibi Robo, Pikmin 2, Mario Tennis, Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime 2 Dark Echoes.
