We suspect we’re in for two things over the next few months. First, Samsung is going to play coy and downplay any rumors of a Galaxy S 4. Until we see an invitation to an Unpacked event, we might as well pretend that the Galaxy SIII is the only thing that Samsung wants to tout.
The second thing we might plan on is Samsung showing off the screen size and technology at CES and/or Mobile World Congress. It’s possible that Samsung might give us a new technology or naming convention for the 1080p stuff.
Just for those keeping score at home, previous rumors for the fourth iteration of Samsung phone have pegged the device as having a new quad-core Exynos Adonis processor and 13-megapixel camera. If the Galaxy S 4 goes anything like the Galaxy S III, we should anticipate plenty of variations, mockups, renders, and leaks that all seem to confirm and refute each other. Strap in.
